Vote Richard Hovey Your Independent Candidate for Elworth
A proxy vote is where you nominate someone to vote on your behalf.
Your nominated proxy can either be someone who lives locally to you and can go and vote in person on your behalf at your polling station or can be someone who lives in another part of the country who would have to vote on your behalf by post.
You need to apply to vote by proxy with your local elections team no later than 5pm on Wednesday 4 December 2024 however, the sooner the better.

You can either:
apply online at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
email: proxyvoting@cheshireeast.gov.uk or phone 0300 123 5016 to request an application form that is a pre-printed, barcoded form for yourself
to download a voting by proxy application form from the Electoral Commission
Return a completed paper proxy application form:
by email to - proxyvoting@cheshireeast.gov.uk attaching a JPEG or PDF of the completed application form, as a clear image with a white background.
by post to - Electoral Services Department, Cheshire East Borough Council, Ground Floor, Macclesfield Town Hall, C/O Delamere House, Delamere Street, Crewe, CW1 2LL.
